Kate Beattie

Kate Beattie leads brand, marketing, communications, public relations and enterprise bid management for Harrier Human Capital and its subsidiary companies. She works closely with our senior leaders to drive sales, client delivery, operations, and people and culture initiatives that strengthen our position as the region’s preferred talent solutions partner.

Kate’s career started in talent acquisition, where she quickly developed a passion for HR technology, recruitment marketing and employer branding. Involved in complex international projects throughout her career, Kate has always looked to emerging technologies and innovative recruitment practices to deliver competitive advantage to her clients, focussing on designing a flawless experience for prospective and internal talent.

Kate has held talent and operational leadership positions in global recruitment and talent businesses where she has led on-site, shared service and project solutions, technology implementaions and recruitment marketing campaigns. As Strategic Resourcing Manager for global engineering services provider Wood, Kate managed the internal and external talent functions for Australia and Asia Pacific, and led Wood’s agency business through a significant rebrand and restructure, winning contracts in new markets and securing the company’s first RPO.

Prior to joining Harrier, Kate gained valuable experience in Australia’s start-up ecosystem, as Head of Marketing and Employer Branding with HR technology company FlexCareers. Here she developed and managed a robust PR and marketing strategy and was pivotal in the evolution of the organisation’s product and services offering.

Kate has a wealth of knowledge across EVP, brand, digital marketing, SEO and public relations that, combined with 20 years’ international talent acquisition and management experience, gives her a unique perspective on how to support Harrrier, our people and our customers to flourish.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Southampton and is close to completing her Masters of Business, majoring in Human Resources and Marketing. She is a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and is pursuing research opportunities in neurodiversity.
